KUALA LUMPUR: Certain areas in Klang, Shah Alam and Kuala Lumpur will experience disruption of water supply on March 16.
Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Syabas) in a statement Tuesday said some areas would experience temporary disruption of water supply following water supply system upgrading work.
The whole of Section 25, Shah Alam, will be affected from March 16, 9pm until 6am the next day.
Areas that will be affected in Klang are Taman Sentosa; Jalan Raja Nong; Specialist Medical Center; Jalan Sungai Jati; Taman Bijaya; and Sekolah Menengah Tinggi Hishamuddin. The disruption of water supply will start at March 16, 9pm until 11am the next day.
In Kuala Lumpur, the disruption of water supply will start at March 16, 9 pm until 9am the next day, involving Pandan Jaya; Pandan Utama; Pandan Cahaya; Taman Bakti; Taman Cempaka; Taman Cahaya; Taman Nirwana; Taman Dagang; Taman Putra Sulaiman and several parts of Kampung Pandan Dalam.
Other areas that will be affected include the Jalan Duta Government Offices Complex; Duta Kensington Park; Changkat Kiara Bayu; Changkat Kiara Surya; Prima Duta; Menara Duta; Duta Ria; Segambut Dalam; Segambut Tengah; Segambut Bahagia.
Taman SPPK Segambut; Taman Segambut; Taman Bukit Segambut; Taman Indah Murni; Bukit Prima Pelangi; Jalan Kelapa Bulan; Jalan Kelapa Hijau; Jalan Kelapa; Sunrise; Montkiara; Sri Sinar; Sri Bintang; Bukit Sri Bintang; Taman Prima Impian and Anjung Tiara will experience a disruption of water supply from March 16, 9pm until noon the next day.
Syabas advised consumers to prepare for the disruption by keeping sufficient water and to be prudent in its use. - Bernama
