Three construction workers hurt after awning collapses at mall construction site


KOTA KINABALU: At least three construction workers were believed to be injured when the trusses of an awning at the main entrance of a soon to be completed shopping mall in the city suddenly gave way just before noon on Monday.

Witnesses said the injured workers were seen being carried out from the area moments after the 11.25am incident.

Firemen and other emergency response teams were at the mall construction site of adjacent to the KK Times Square commercial centre near Sembulan.
