KUALA LUMPUR: Environmentalists here are turning to in vitro fertilisation (IVF) as a last resort to save Malaysia’s last native rhino, the Sumatran rhino, from dying out.
Borneo Rhino Alliance executive director Datuk Dr Junaidi Payne said a programme backed by the Sabah state government was in the works to produce rhino embryos by mid-2017.
