SHAH ALAM: The popular property fair organised by StarProperty.my begins today. It will feature some of Malaysia’s top property developers and their projects.

The three-day event, which ends on Sunday at Setia City Convention Centre, features 28 exhibitors, including property developers, and is open from 11am to 7pm.

StarProperty.my marketing head Janice Yeap said visitors to the fair would also stand a chance to win a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite.

A total of 50 units will be given away as part of a lucky draw contest in partnership with CIMB Property Mart.

There will also be talks on property and feng shui from various speakers during the three-day event.

The Star Media Group’s Digital general manager Timothy Hor said this was the first of five StarProperty Fairs organised by StarProperty.my this year.

Eco World Development Sdn Bhd’s corporate marketing senior manager Yuen Chee Meng said participating in the fair was one way to strengthen the company’s profile.

“This is the second year we are participating and we realise this fair is important to key property developers,” said Yuen.

He said Eco World, which has taken up the largest booth in the exhibition, would be showcasing seven key projects launched in the northern and central regions as well as Johor Baru.

OSK Property Holdings Bhd’s assistant sales and marketing manager Wong Ting Li said the group would be highlighting two of its township projects in Damansara and Cyberjaya.

One project is The Vale II in Sutra Damansara, which consists of townhouses, and the other is Pan’gaea, an integrated township in Cyberjaya.

Mah Sing Group Bhd’s central marketing executive Ong Kah Ren said the company would feature six of its latest projects, namely in Rawang, Cyberjaya, Jalan Ampang and Mont Kiara.

Ong said the group would also be promoting its “Privilege Card”, which is given to customers who register with them.

“When they purchase a property with us, they will be entitled to get rebates worth RM3,000 to RM5,000 with this card,” Ong said.

Apart from property projects, visitors can also drop by the Hyundai booth, where they can view the latest models and test drive the cars outside the convention centre.

Hyundai marketing executive Sua Yi Jack said three models featured during the fair were the i40 Tourer, the Tucson and Elantra.

“We are also having an exclusive promotion where those who book our cars and manage to secure bank loans will receive a Fossil watch,” he added.

He said visitors who test drive the company’s vehicles at the fair could also join its lucky draws.
