A MAN was found dead with his neck almost severed along Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock, Kuala Lumpur, reported Kosmo!
Mugunthan Maran, 29, who was in a bitter child custody battle with his ex-wife after getting divorced recently, was found in a pool of blood in front of a hotel.
Dang Wangi OCPD Asst Comm Zainuddin Ahmad said the contract worker had been working for a private company in Singapore.
“Information from the CCTV in the hotel showed a man wearing a helmet attacking Mugunthan from behind,” he said.
No valuables were taken from Mugunthan, who had earlier told his father that he was going to Puchong to meet his friends.

Khin Win Maung, 34, suffered three slashes to his neck and other injuries on his back, believed to have been inflicted by a sharp object, as well as two blows to his head.

“But the man, who was accompanied by a woman, continued slashing him.
“Then, he stopped moving,” said the nasi lemak seller.
The Myanmar national, he added, was chased for 20m before he was slashed.
The motive for the murder was believed to have been revenge stemming from a dispute among some Myanmar nationals last Sunday.
