Bar: Extend legal aid to non-citizens


IPOH: The Malaysian Bar has proposed that the National Legal Aid Foundation (YBGK) extends its services to non-citizens.

Bar president Christopher Leong said many foreign workers do not have the resources or money to seek legal aid when they get caught for alleged criminal activities.
