Johor to make Iskandar Malaysia a medical hub

JOHOR BARU: The Johor government calls upon cooperation from all sectors especially health providers to make Iskandar Malaysia into a medical hub.

Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin tasked KPJ Healthcare, which has four private hospitals in Iskandar Malaysia, to come up with a masterplan make the hub a reality.

He said that Johor has the potential to develop into a medical hub to attract visitors to the state to seek medical care.

"There is no timeframe for the masterplan but KPJ Healthcare should also take into consideration the various aspects like providing health services like sterilisation into the plan," he said after attending a health camp in Permas Jaya here Saturday.
