JOHOR BARU: Local councils in Johor need to justify their proposed increase of the assessment rate from next year onwards by improving their service and delivery system.
The Johor Baru Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry president Datuk Loh Liam Hiang said the revenue collected must be spent on maintenance of public facilities and infrastructure.
