Takeover of Sungai Nibong bus terminal leads to stand-off

GEORGE TOWN: The Penang Municipal Council's attempt to take over the operations of the Sungai Nibong Express Bus Terminal has led to a stand-off.

About 50 enforcement officers from the council and policemen and some 10 staff members of the operator, Aspirasi Utara Engineering (AUE), were engaged in a heated discussion that lasted some 30 minutes from 8.30am at the terminal on Tuesday.
