Fairuz and Shafeeqah join forces to wrest bowling title

MOHD Fairuz Jabal and Nor Shafeeqah Yahya emerged as the new Mahsuri Cup international mix-ed pairs lawn bowls champions at the Langkawi Development Autho-rity (Lada) sports complex in Kedah.

Playing under the banner of Hari-mau A, they overran their Harimau B counterparts Mohd Azwan Shuhaimi and Nur Fidrah Noh by 16 shots to eight in the final.
