MALACCA: A giant replica of junk used by the great Chinese explorer and sailor Admiral Zheng He has been hoisted at the famous Jonker Walk, touted as the pulse of the Chinese community in the historic city. This is in conjunction with the Lunar New Year.
The replica which is 30 metres in length and 23 metres in height, weighing close to two-tonne was hoisted using two cranes on last week.
