Also present at the event were Federal Territories Minister Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor and Kuala Lumpur mayor Datuk Seri Ahmad Phesal Talib.
“Sustainability as far as development is concerned is a development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. Focus needs to be given to issues such as recycling and environmental preservation,” Tengku Adnan said, adding that Parkhill Residence was an example of responsible development.
The minister also noted an upcoming joint venture project between City Hall and Aset Kayamas to build some 1,500 apartment units in Bukit Jalil as part of the 1Malaysia Civil Servants Housing (PPA1M) programme.
