MOBILE Internet and voice service provider YES is back as a platinum sponsor for this year’s Ipoh Starwalk. This is the company’s fourth sponsorship.
YES is sponsoring RM70,000 in cash and a grand prize of a three-day two-night stay at Pangkor Laut Resort worth RM5,000.
“Coming back on board shows our commitment in leading a healthy lifestyle.
“Internet connectivity plays an important role in our lifestyle but one can be on the go too while enjoying the Internet via mobile network.
“Events such as Starwalk delivers the brand’s message of positive change and living a healthy lifestyle is part of that change,” said YTL Communications Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Wing K. Lee, adding that participation in sports activity was important to encourage people to exercise to prevent future health issues.
Wing added that a group of more than 100 employees would be at the event to support and participate in the walk.
“We encourage work-life balance and Starwalk is a great event to bring the employees together and have a great time,” said Wing.
A YES booth will be set up near the stadium’s entrance to provide information on special promotions including the Sam-sung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge promotion as well as the new Xiaomi Redmi 2 promotion.
Visitors can also participate in the fun activities and lucky draw sessions at the booth.
