Telco offers exclusive privileges to good paymasters

Loyal customers of Maxis can now enjoy enhanced privileges with the new MaxisONE Club (MOC) programme.

Maxis customers who are post-paid users for 12 months or more with a timely payment record are automatically enrolled into the MOC membership based on their monthly spending to enjoy rewards based on two tiers.

“Rewarding our customers has always been a priority to us and it represents our deep appreciation for their support.

“We want to showcase something extra special to our customers by providing services and exclusivity that allows adding convenience into their lives,” said Maxis consumer business head Dushyan Vaithiyanathan.

With an average of RM150 monthly spent, MOC members are entitled to exclusive members-only discounts from key merchants and premium brands.

MOC members also gain private access to meet their favourite celebrities, such as the recent session with Hong Kong artiste Jacky Cheung and the upcoming exclusive backstage access to meet Backstreet Boys on May 3, as well as be in the running for VIP seats.

Post-paid users with an average of RM500 monthly spending will join the MOC Elite membership to gain fast-track access at Maxis centres, free calls to Maxis helpline with priority assistance and express SIM-delivery in the event of faulty or lost SIM cards.

In addition, MOC Elite members get to experience by-invitation-only dining events, with the first event scheduled on May 30, and private gadget previews for first-hand experiences such as the upcoming Samsung S6 and S6 Edge smartphone preview on April 11.

Post-paid users can check their membership status and access the MOC rewards via the MyMaxis app, available on Google Play and App Store.

“We intend to put together content, service and experience into one package for our customers to enjoy and there will be more value-added privileges to come,” said Dushyan, adding that more content would be rolled out in the next six months.
