Eateries ordered closed in Klang

Maintaining good hygiene: MPK is encouraging all food operators to wash and clean up every day.

SEVERAL eateries have been ordered closed by the Klang Municipal Council (MPK) in an ongoing operation to check food safety and hygiene.

“Action was taken for violations such as cockroach infestation, rat droppings, not maintaining food temperature, preparing food in back lanes and dirty toilets,” said MPK Corporate Communications director Norfiza Mahfiz.
