With the Ultimate Universe coming to an end in May, we look back at some of Ultimate Marvel’s defining moments.

The Ultimate Comics line may have started in 2000 with Ultimate Spider-Man, a modern take on Peter Parker, but it was Mark Millar’s hard-hitting 2002 series The Ultimates – Ultimate Marvel’s version of the Avengers – that really made an impact with fans.
