Solar cell factory to go full production, 700 more jobs

GEORGE TOWN: JA Solar Holdings Co Ltd will go full production at its RM300mil solar cell facility in Bayan Lepas by the end of 2015.

Its strategic planning and business development head Dr Christoph Flink said the company had invested about RM30mil for the 400MW facility, which would provide up to 700 job opportunities for the local economy, and was able to accommodate further expansion in production capacity to meet growth in demand.
