Maybank posts earnings of RM1.61b in Q3 (Update)


The group's allowance for impairment losses on loans, advances and financing for Q3, 2014 fell by RM200.0mil. The decrease was mainly due to lower net CA made and higher bad debt and financing recovered of RM184.3mil and RM125.1mil respectively. The decrease was, however, offset by higher net IA made of RM136.8mil.
