Tenaga inks power purchase deal with 1MDB, Mitsui


KUALA LUMPUR: Tenaga Nasional Bhd has sealed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with Jimah East Power Sdn Bhd for the 2,000MW coal-fired power plant in Mukim Jimah, Negeri Sembilan.

Tenaga said on Tuesday Jimah East Power is a joint venture comprising of 1Malaysia Development Bhd and Mitsui & Co. Ltd which will design, construct, own, operate and maintain the plant.
