Maybank Cambodia opens 17th branch

KUALA LUMPUR: Maybank Cambodia Plc has launched its 17th branch at Ta Khmao, Kandal Province to expand its footprint across the nation and to provide the community with convenient access of banking services.

In a statement on Wednesday, Maybank Cambodia's chief executive officer and director, Lee Tien Poh, said keen investor interest in Ta Khmao has resulted in increasing consumer and commercial activities.

"The opening of the branch reflects the bank's mission to humanise financial services and its long-term commitment to support the economic development of the country," he said.

Lee said last year the bank opened four branches and had further spurred the deposits growth which had shown a healthy growth of 40% on-year.
