The woman who empowered Africa's small farmers

In 2010, Jamila Abass came up with M-Farm, an app that connected Kenya's small-time farmers with the market they were dealing with, bypassing middlemen and helping farmers to get the profits they needed.

We interviewed her during this year's Global Transformation Forum in Malaysia, to find out how she came up with the idea, the power of the small-time farmer, and the role of women in today's world.
