In addition to the 2019 iPhones that are expected to be coming with three cameras, reports now also suggest that the 2020 handsets will likely come with a more powerful, longer-range 3D camera.

Apple’s new iPad Air and Mini are now available on the Malaysia online store, with prices starting from RM1,699.

The iPad Air is a full-size tablet that weighs just 464g and is 6.1mm thick, while its smaller cousin, the iPad Mini, is just a tad above 300g and the same thickness.

Both are powered by Apple’s A12 Bionic chip, which is also used in the iPhone XS and XS Max.

The iPads also have an embedded M12 coprocessor and run iOS 12 out the box. The battery is rated for up to 10 hours of surfing or video watching.

The iPad Air has a 10.5in display with a resolution of 2,224 x 1,668 pixels and 264ppi (pixels per inch). The iPad Mini’s 7.9in display has a resolution of 2,048 x 1,536 pixels and 326ppi.

The screens support Apple Pencil, though customers will have to buy one separately for RM419.

Apple claims the True Tone feature makes it easier to view the display in any light, as the screen dynamically adjusts the white balance based on the light around the user.

Both iPads come in three colours – Silver, Space Gray and Gold.

The iPad Air 64GB costs RM2,199, while the cellular-capable version costs RM2,749. The 256GB unit goes for RM2,849, while the cellular-capable version costs RM3,399.

The iPad Mini 64GB costs RM1,699, while the cellular-capable version is priced at RM2,249. The 256GB version costs for RM2,349, while the cellular-capable version is RM2,899.

Users can add an engraving for free to their unit when checking out.
