Scientist Nikola Tesla is known for his electrical inventions and rather sad life story. Horror writer HP Lovecraft created a terrifying world of his own.

In Tesla vs Lovecraft (iOS) the two are brought together. In the game the world is overrun by Lovecraftian monsters and the only hope of stopping them is a brave hero with weapons built by Tesla.

This is a shooter game with a bird's eye perspective. The movements of the character are controlled with the left thumb while the right thumb sets the firing direction.

Hordes of monsters stream at the player from all directions and the player has to keep firing and moving constantly to avoid being overwhelmed.

If enough monsters are overcome, the player rises to the next level and gets upgraded abilities. This is very necessary because the monster attacks know no end. The game is available for iOS for US$9 (RM38), with an Android version expected in future. – dpa
