A new app called DAMAGED offers a virtual reality/augmented reality immersive experience allowing fans of the famed artist Shepard Fairey to experience his largest solo exhibition to date, which was held last year in Los Angeles.

Featuring new work by Fairey, DAMAGED, the exhibit, had a limited run in Los Angeles in November-December 2017 and was the artist and provocateur's first solo show in his hometown in more than 10 years.

During the show, appmaker VRt Ventures used laser scanning and volumetric photogrammetry technology to scan the entire exhibition space in detail.

The resulting app is an immersive journey through the exhibit accompanied by more than 100 minutes of narration by Fairey. An augmented reality feature allows users to navigate the exhibit at their own pace.
