Curiosities don't take long to cure with the internet at our fingertips, but Chicago-based Encyclopaedia Britannica wants people to slow down and think twice before accepting search results as facts. 

The well-known reference source launched a free Chrome extension that provides Internet searchers with an additional layer of information at the top right of their results page.
