Startup touts neuro-stimulation as 'medicine for the brain'

California startup Halo Neuroscience has unveiled a device which provides neuro-stimulation to help improve the performance of athletes, pilots and surgeons, and could also potentially help in the rehabilitation of stroke victims.

They look like a set of fancy headphones. 

But a set of spikes inside the band act as electrodes to stimulate the brain.
