Emirates, Etihad say not advised of new US flight restrictions on electronics

DUBAI: Emirates Airline and Etihad Airways have not been advised of any new restrictions on carrying electronic devices on US flights, the Middle East airlines said on March 21. 

The Department of Homeland Security is expected to announce on March 21 passengers travelling on certain US bound flights will have to check electronic devices larger than a new cellphone, US officials told Reuters on March 20.
