Next time you hail a ride on Uber you might want to consider launching the ShopBack app first.
The reason is that ShopBack has now teamed up with Uber to offer cash back whenever you book an Uber ride through ShopBack.
Booking an Uber ride via ShopBack is pretty easy – you just tap on the Rides icon in the ShopBack app, which will then bring you to the Uber app where you can book your ride as normal.
If you’re not already registered with Uber, booking and registering for Uber via ShopBack will give you an instant cash back of up to RM5 when you complete your first ride.
Customers who are already registered for Uber can only claim cash back of just 20sen.
Unlike most other merchants on ShopBack where it takes time for your cash to be credited, booking an Uber ride via ShopBack will give you cash back into your ShopBack account instantly.
The cash back for Uber rides is fixed and can only be claimed once a day.
ShopBack, which was founded in Singapore in 2014, is now in its second year of operation in Malaysia and now has over 500 participating merchants.
