Data centre growth drives Intel's fourth-quarter revenue, profit beat

Intel Corp reported better-than-expected quarterly revenue and profit driven by a stabilising PC market and growth in its data centre business, which offers cloud-based software services.

Revenue from the data centre business rose 8.4% to US$4.67bil (RM20.7bil) in the fourth quarter, while revenue from its traditional PC business rose 4.3% to US$9.13bil (RM40.46bil).
