CES 2017: Ford unveils latest self-driving research car

Ford has picked a hybridised version of its Fusion mid-range saloon as the basis for a new self-driving test fleet and has been showing it off at the 2017 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. 

The cars are a lightly face-lifted version of the 2nd-generation Fusion hybrid and were also set to be shown at the 2017 Detroit Auto Show. The Fusion is badged as a Mondeo is some markets.
