Cheaper tablets from big names can also be good devices: report

A good tablet doesnt even need to be expensive, according to a recent consumer test of 11 devices, which established that major manufacturers have lower-cost tablets that are almost as good as those in their premium lines. 

The report, published by consumer tests institute Stiftung Warentest in its magazine in Germany, argued that "standards" such as Amoled displays or fingerprint scanners are advantageous but not necessary.
