The studio network behind Grand Theft Auto has started teasing its next big release, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One wild west adventure Red Dead Redemption 2, a late 2017 sequel to 2010's critical and commercial success, and with a debut trailer set for Oct 20, 2016.
Oct 16, 2016, saw Rockstar Games post a red-textured background stamped with its own logo branding to Twitter; Oct 17 a silhouette of seven gun-toting wanderers against a wilderness background. Oct 18, and a fall 2017 date was announced, along with the game's numbered title.
