Activision Blizzard Inc reported a 50.4% surge in quarterly revenue on Aug 4, propelled by the popularity of the newly-launched Overwatch game and the boost from the acquisition of Candy Crush maker King Digital.
Activision's total adjusted revenue, which excludes deferred revenue and related costs, rose to US$1.57bil (RM6.33bil) in the second quarter ended June 30 from US$1.04bil (RM4.19bil) a year earlier.
