WATERLOO, ONTARIO/TORONTO: BlackBerry Ltd Chief Executive John Chen expressed confidence on June 23 that he can make the company's trimmed-down handset business profitable by a self-imposed September deadline, as the smartphone pioneer posted results that beat expectations.
