Pocketable charger: Mobeego cans can be easily stored in the pocket, purse, or backpack while travelling thanks to its tiny size.

In an increasingly connected world, devices such as smartphones, tablets and digital cameras have become an important part of our lives.

However, this also means that more often than not you will have to charge these devices on the go.

While a power bank is a useful option, its size and weight makes it an inconvenience for those who prefer to travel light.

Nasdaq-listed company Life Clips has introduced a tiny alternative for powering your devices in the form of a pocketable canister called Mobeego.

Due to its compact size, the canister can easily be stored in pockets, purses, backpacks and briefcases.

“MoBeeGo is designed with ease of use in mind and lets you charge your devices instantly when you need it, anytime and anywhere,” said Kelvin Hun, the co-founder of Veloster Technology, the local distributor.

The canister is rated at 1,700mAh – roughly about the same capacity of an iPhone 6s. The company claims it offers up to four hours of battery life for most phones.

Mobeego is available in three versions — Single Shot (RM29), Refill (RM10) and pack of six batteries (RM55). The Single Shot pack is ideal for first-time users as it comes with a reusable adaptor (either microUSB or Lightning) and one battery can. The adaptor has to be attached to the canister before connecting it to the phone.

Those who have already purchased the Single Shot can reuse the adaptor and purchase a Refill pack instead which comes with a single battery.

Mobeego is available at myNews.com outlets nationwide. The company claims that its products are designed with the environment in mind as the cans can be recycled.
