WASHINGTON: The US Federal Aviation Administration said it is proposing US$130,000 (RM522,730) in civil fines against Amazon.com Inc for two new violations of shipping products that allegedly violated hazardous materials regulations.
The proposed fines cover two shipments of materials in May and June 2014, and come less than two weeks after the FAA proposed a US$350,000 (RM1.40mil) fine against Amazon for a shipment that injured several UPS workers who handled a package.
