Xiaomi reveals debut drone

Ultra HD: The Mi Drone comes with a Sony 12.4-megapixel sensor that can capture video at up to 3,840 x 2,160-pixels.

Chinese electronics firm Xiaomi has unveiled its "Mi Drone," the company's first foray into the drone market and its rival to DJI's Phantom series.

The gadget, a 360°, 4K camera-wielding quadcopter is priced at 2,999 yuan (RM1,856), and is expected to create waves for drone maker DJI with its Phantom 3 4K, which retails for a suggested retail price of US$999 (RM4,000), now available for US$799 (RM3,260).
