Nokia patent sales forecast from Samsung deal hits shares


BMW, Audi and Mercedes will pay around €2.5bil (RM11.43bil) to buy Nokia's navigation business,

HELSINKI: Nokia said it had settled a lengthy patent dispute with South Korea's Samsung on Feb 1, but investors were disappointed by the financial terms of the deal. 

Nokia's shares fell 10% after the Finnish firm said the Samsung deal would lift patent unit Nokia Technologies' sales to around €1.02bil (RM4.60bil) in 2015, including catch-up payments, from €578mil (RM2.60bil) in 2014.
