PETALING JAYA: Mohd Asyraaf Rosli of Danau Golf Club and Malaysian Golf Association’s (MGA) Genevieve Ling clinched the Under-18 boys’ and girls’ titles at the RSGC AmBank Junior Amateur Open Golf Championship at the Royal Selangor Golf Club.

Both carded identical final day scores of 72 yesterday.
The tournament was played on a strokeplay format.
“I’m pleased to win the title. Being placed fourth yesterday (on Wednesday), I had to perform better to catch up and I’m glad I made it,” said a Asyraaf.
Genevieve, who will be pursuing a degree in Communications on a golf scholarship at the Boise State University in the United States in August, said that it was her father, Peter Ling, who introduced her to the game when she was 12.
