THE Star Property Fair returns this year, with an array of new property launches, irresistible deals and great prizes to be won.
With the property market making a strong comeback early this year, the mega event could not have come at a better time for bargain hunters and property investors.
Whether you’re taking that first and often tricky step on the property ladder or planning to invest in real estate, you can be assured of an exciting range of hot bargains and freebies offered by developers.
Organised by Star Publications (M) Bhd in collaboration with Henry Butcher Malaysia Penang, the three-day extravaganza will be held at G Hotel and Gurney Plaza in Penang from July 23 to 25.
“The timing of the fair is just right as the property market has picked up tremendously early this year with many property sales being transacted,” said Helen Tan from Henry Butcher Malaysia Penang.
She said the event would showcase some new property launches while potential buyers looking for their first dream homes or for investments should come to the previews to catch early bird discounts and freebies.
As part of efforts to take the expo to the international platform, the organisers have invited selected media organisations from the Asia News Network (ANN) such as Japan, China, India, Indonesia and Singapore to visit Penang prior to the event.
The trip is aimed at providing the foreign journalists with an insight into what Penang has to offer and to write about the property investment opportunities available to international investors.
To be held for the eighth consecutive year, the event is expected to attract a bigger crowd and more foreign property investors this year. About 30,000 people visited the fair last year.
Among the participants are IJM Land, SP Setia, Nusmetro, Ideal Properties, Lone Pine, Seal Incorporated and Henry Butcher Malaysia Penang.
Apart from the fair, there will also be forums and talks with representatives from the state government sharing their views on the Penang Property Market Outlook, Penang Economic Outlook and Future Development of Penang.
A solicitor will also speak on ‘Legal Aspects on Property Transactions’ while an architect will touch on ‘How to Inspect a Building Prior to Purchase’.
In addition to a talk on taxation by a tax consultant, the ever popular feng shui talk will be among the highlights of the event.
Those interested to take part in the fair can call The Star’s Valerie/Lillian at 04-6473899 or Henry Butcher’s Yeoh at 04-2298999. As there are only a few booths left, booking is on a first-come-first-served basis.
