IT was a night of timeless beauty as watch connoisseurs from all around the region witnessed the launch of the first and only Bedat & Co boutique in the world at the Starhill Gallery in Kuala Lumpur recently.
The event was preceded by the official launch of the Bedat & Co Diamond Baguette that was flown in and unveiled for the first time in Asia.
Special guest at the launch was the Raja Permaisuri Agong Tuanku Nur Zahirah.
Also present were YTL Corpo-ration managing director Tan Sri Francis Yeoh, Luxury Concepts Watches and Jewellery chief executive officer Frank Low and Bedat & Co chief executive officer Viviane Frankhauser.
“As we strive hard to remain at the forefront of the watch industry in Malaysia and the region, LuxuryConcepts is consistently looking out for talented and promising watch brands like Bedat & Co, to collaborate with,” said Low.
“Inspired by Art Deco traditions that play with simple mathematical geometric shapes, each Bedat & Co timepiece is intricately designed to reflect purity and refinement,” said Fankhauser.
Distinguished guests were treated to a performance by soprano Cynthia Lawrence, tenor Saimir Pirgu and Italian flutist Andrea Griminelli as they marvelled at the extraordinary timepieces alongside Bedat & Co’s elite clientele of socialites and business partners before being captivated by a mesmerising fashion display of the timepieces.
Bedat & Co. selects numbers to represent each collection to correspond to a particular philosophy or aesthetic appearance of the timepieces, making each collection unique and timeless.
