JALAN Imbi has become a one-way street starting from Jalan Bukit Bintang heading towards Jalan Sultan Ismail. The diversion is being carried out by City Hall to ease congestion in the golden triangle area. The changes will be carried out in phases with the first phase starting with part of Jalan Imbi from Jalan Bukit Bintang (LTAT building until Jalan Barat/Jalan Imbi/Jalan Walter Grenier) being turned into a one-way street. The one-way street at Jalan Kampung will be diverted towards Jalan Bukit Bintang.
Motorists from Jalan Imbi and Jalan Walter Grenier heading towards Jalan Bukit Bintang and Jalan Tun Razak will be diverted to Jalan Barat, Jalan Utara, Jalan Kampung, Jalan Bukit Bintang and towards Jalan Tun Razak. Traffic lights will be installed at the junctions of Jalan Imbi/Jalan Walter Grenier/Jalan Barat and at the junctions of Jalan Kampung/Jalan Bukit Bintang.
THERE will be water disruption in several areas in the Klang Valley from April 25 from 10am until 5am the next day due to pipe installation work by Syabas. Areas affected in the Klang district are Taman Rambai, Klang and Bandar Putra Permai and Taman Pinggiran Putra in the Petaling district. For details call 1-800-88-5252.
