PETALING JAYA: SP Setia Foundation has pledged RM100,000 to help flood victims repair their homes following the recent floods in several southern states.
Foundation chairman Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye stressed that the aid would be for genuinely poor and deserving victims.
“Upon receiving their requests, we will check and carry out site visits to determine their eligibility for assistance.
“We are saddened by the devastation caused by the floods,” he said.
“Having a roof over one's head is a basic need and we sincerely hope our assistance will put the victims back on their feet,” he said.
Those who wish to apply for the foundation's aid can call 03-5891 0657 or 5882 2000 (ext 205), fax 03-5882 0436 or e-mail setiacare@spsetia. com.my.
