ACS Ipoh now has a female principal

THROUGHOUT its 116-year history, the all-boys school SM Methodist (ACS) Ipoh has never had a female principal.

Fast forward to 2011 and a new chapter is now being written. Soot Mooy Ching, 54, took over two months ago as the first female principal of the school.

And it was also with pride as Soot has returned to the very school where she attended Form Six in 1976 and 1977.
