Starbucks opens its first drive-thru in the Klang Valley

Coffee on the go: Malaysia’s first drive-thru Starbucks in Setia Alam, Shah Alam.

AS PART of its plan to innovate and introduce new ways to enjoy a cup of java, Berjaya Starbucks Coffee Company Sdn Bhd opened its first drive-thru in Setia Alam, Shah Alam.

“We are always looking for ways to surprise and delight our customers and this drive-thru is a concept that we feel our customers will welcome”, said Berjaya Starbucks Coffee Company Sdn Bhd marketing and communications director Sydney Quays.

“The Starbucks drive-thru concept is about enjoying quality coffee while on the go. It’s convenient, fast and efficient. Now customers would not have the hassle of parking their cars and walking into our stores for their drinks. ”

Besides the drive-thru feature, the 4,056 sq ft outlet offers cafe seating for 200 customers, both indoor and outdoor.

The Starbucks drive-thru offers the full menu of food and beverage for customers including a range of frappuccinos and hand crafted hot drinks.

Starbucks Setia Alam is open daily from 8am till 11pm and till 11.30pm on Fridays, Saturdays and eve of public holidays.
