GE13: Former IGP Musa reiterates that he is only security advisor to Pakatan and not member

KUALA LUMPUR: Former Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Musa Hassan has reiterated that he is not a member of Pakatan Rakyat or its security advisory council.

Musa said he had periodically given advice on security matters at the request of the party, in his capacity based on his experience in the field of security.

"I was only asked to give security advice, if needed, and am not officially involved in their security council," he said Tuesday.

It was reported Monday that Musa had joined the council as an advisor following several incidents involving political violence recently.
