KEDAI Ayamas (Ayamas) and Adabi Consumer Industries Sdn Bhd (Adabi) have rolled out a series of roadshows in the Klang Valley.
The event, which will take place in seven locations, was firstly held at Kedai Ayamas, Wisma KFC earlier this month and will wrap up in Seri Kembangan in October.
Visitors can expect a cooking demonstration by Adabi executive chef, Chef Irwan and other family- oriented activities including a colouring contest, games, Q&A sessions and a lucky draw.
Special promotions will also be on offer throughout the roadshows. There will be goodie bags for early birds too.
The launch of the roadshow coincides with the introduction of Ayamas’s new tagline.
“With Kedai Ayamas’s new tagline “More Than Just Chicken”, we want to create better awareness to the public that Kedai Ayamas offers a wide range of products under one roof,” said KFC Holdings (Malaysia) Bhd managing director Jamaludin Md Ali.
The cooking demonstration by Chef Irwan is aimed at educating the public on menu options using products from Kedai Ayamas and Adabi.
The session will also demonstrate the preparation and cooking techniques suitable for all skill levels.
The recipes have been adapted to work in almost any kitchen and are suitable for today’s demanding lifestyle.
“Through the cooking demonstration, we hope that customers will be able to learn and get some ideas on how to whip out a delicious and fuss-free meal using Ayamas fresh chicken, processed chicken meat and Adabi products.
“These recipes are ideal for those who lead busy lifestyles but at the same time want to make time to cook for their families.
“The aim is to provide healthy dining options by using products available at Kedai Ayamas as their priority in cooking for their family.”
The one-day roadshows will be held at Kedai Ayamas outlets at Bukit Sentosa Rawang (today), Taman Damai Mewah, Kajang (July 14), Sg Besi (Sept 8), Batang Kali (Sept 22) and Seri Kembangan
Kedai Ayamas is the first poultry retail chain in Malaysia that sells chicken and chicken-based products in an air-conditioned convenience store.
The products are processed and packed in the company’s own plants. To-date, there are 85 outlets inclusive of three outlets in Sabah. The company plans to open an outlet in Brunei this year.
