Part of Genting road to close for cycling event

THE road leading to Genting Higlands will be closed to enable competitors of the cycling competition Le Tour de Langkawi to compete in the 6th stage of the challenge this Wednesday.

The Shah Alam to Resorts World Genting stretch is said to be the most challenging uphill cycle of the event.

Resorts World Genting, in a statement, advised motorists travelling from Resorts World Genting to Genting Sempah, near the first security checkpoint, on that day to avoid the stretch as the road would be closed from 10.30am to 2.30pm on Feb 29.

To leave the resort during this period, visitors are advised to use the Genting Skyway and the Batang Kali road.

Resorts World Genting apologises for any inconvenience caused.
