BN to launch Karnival Sayangi Selangor

SELANGOR Barisan Nasional will continue its mission to encourage citizens to adopt Selangor BN through the Karnival Sayangi Selangor from Dec 29 to Jan 1, 2013 at i-City, Shah Alam.

Selangor BN coordinator Datuk Seri Mohd Zin Mohamad (pic right) said the programme held for the second time was a demonstration of Selangor Barisan’s readiness to reclaim Selangor from Pakatan.

“Both corporate and private bodies have cooperated with us to make this carnival happen and we estimate to attract half a million visitors throughout the four days,” said Mohd Zin.

Among the exciting activities planned are exhibitions by government agencies and a career fair for students. There will also be 86 stalls showcasing products from small- and medium-scale industries from Selangor, food stalls and also local fruits from the Federal Agriculture Marketing Authority.

Mohd Zin, who is also Selangor Umno secretary, said there would also be cultural performances and contests for the whole family at the i-City Waterpark.

“The main event is on Dec 31. At night, there will be cultural performances with local and international artistes along with a fireworks display.

“I hope the people of Selangor will come to enliven the Karnival Sayangi Selangor,” he said.

Zin, who is also Sepang MP, said the Selangor BN engine was ready for the coming general election.
