TANG YUAN FEAST

Be part of the 1,500 over people attempting to make it into the Malaysia Book of Records for the largest “tang yuan” eating session today at 3pm until 10pm. Organised by the Chempaka Buddhist Lodge Petaling Jaya and Ai FM, there will also be other activities such as performances by Malaysian artiste, colouring contests, as well as cooking and “tang yuan” eating contests, on top of 55 lucky draw prizes to be won. BATTLE OF THE MARCHING BANDS

March your way downtown to Sungei Wang Plaza this weekend and enjoy the musical synchronisation of marching bands as they battle to win amazing cash prizes. COMMUNITY CARNIVAL

Take part in the Community Care Carnival tomorrow, between 10am and 5pm, at the lobby of Tropicana Medical Centre (TMC), Petaling Jaya, jointly organised by Rotary Club of Gombak, TMC, Caring Citizens of Kota Damansara, and the Petaling Jaya City Council. Activities planned include a food bazaar, jumble sale, performances, health talks, and free basic health checks (blood pressure, glucose, BMI, eye and dental).
